WhatsApp

bia pairs like WhatsApp on another screen: scan a QR on the machine, then message and call as your linked device — not as a third-party “WhatsApp bot.”

There is no SMS code or password step. Login opens a dedicated “WhatsApp QR” window on the display; you scan it from WhatsApp → Linked devices. The code refreshes about every twenty seconds until it sticks.

After that, bia can search contacts, send texts and files, read local history, delete or clear chats, and ban or unban someone. Groups use the same tools. Files people send land in its WhatsApp inbox.

Voice calls use the same linked-device path: start, accept, reject, hang up, join a group call, and speak short replies. Incoming calls and speech show up on the conversation like any other channel.

The session file lives with bia’s other secrets and restores at boot. If WhatsApp unlinks the device, bia says so clearly and asks you to scan again.

In everyday life

  • Pairs with a QR on the physical screen — same idea as WhatsApp Web.
  • Sends and receives as your linked device in 1:1 and group chats.
  • Handles voice calls with listen-and-speak, not just mute transcripts.
  • Survives reboot with the linked session on disk.

Unlike a normal chatbot

Consumer “AI in WhatsApp” products are usually a separate bot chat. bia is the linked device on your number — present where your real contacts already write.
